Mobile induction unit SCF/I

15KW / 30KW

The mobile induction unit SCF/I Tecnopress of 15 or 30 kW is used to heat the wire from Ø2 to Ø20 mm at high temperatures (up to 400° C), with the purpose to improve the malleability of the wire during the cold forming process of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper. The use of high quality Tecnopress unit contributes to a considerable saving of tooling, avoiding unwanted breakage or possible cracks on forged pieces.
Its strength compared to other inductors is the fact that, being wheeled, it can be flexibly positioned in front of any double-shot or multi-station press instead of being static (fixed only on one press).

Characteristics

  • Easy handling on wheels;
  • Adaptable to various wire entry heights, as it has its own rack that allows a vertical excursion of approximately 70 cm;
  • Small footprint (600 mm x 900 mm x 1900 mm);
  • Can be electrically connected to the printer for a integrated wire temperature management.
